When you've found 10 of these go over to the 2011 Easter Egg submission form page (see tabs at the top of the page). Fill in the details and voila, you're in with a chance of winning.

But what can we win? I hear your asking.
Well, the winner will have the option of one of two mystery prizes:

Virtual mystery pack. This will be sent to the provided e-mail address and will contain queen-related goodies for use on the internet.
Posted mystery pack (Europe only). If the winner chooses this option, they will be contacted and asked for their real address. The pack will contain a range of bought and homemade queen-related goodies.

Whichever prize pack you choose, I hope you will enjoy the goodies.
Don't forget that if you become a blog follower then you will never miss a QNN competition or website addition ever again.

Competition: Powellite Banners!

As you may have noticed, we have a brand new site- Powellite Palace- launched only yesterday.

It has come to my attention that whilst we have contributors and supporters banners for QNN they featured Queen quite heavily and some Powellites may prefer to use ones featuring Cozy.

So, this is where you guys (and gals) come in. We're looking for banners displaying a picture of Cozy (or something Cozy related) with text 'QNN Supporter' or 'QNN Contributor'.

You don't have to be a Powellite to do this! You could use a picture from the Powellite Palace site if you don't have one ready to hand!

You don't have to have editing software on your computer! I've been using an online site called aviary (not affiliated with QNN) to create my banners.

As usual there will be a monthly winner and if your banner(s) is/are chosen you will receive a QNN Contributor's banner (you can choose from displaying the Powellite or General QNN ones) and a rank promotion.
Points will also be awarded for the league table:
1 point= entered competition
2 points= used on a QNN site
3 points= 3rd place
4 points= 2nd place
5 points= 1st place

Deadline: 28th August 2010

QNN Launches Powellite Palace!!!!!!

The seconds site to be dedicated to those who have worked with Queen or members of Queen (QNN SAS being the first), Powellite Palace is dedicated to the immortal memory of Cozy Powell.

The two message-boards Ms (Mousey and Melissa) have been working hard on the site for months and now, especially for you, Powellite Palace has been taken off the shelf and is rising into the limelight. The site's line-up includes a Bio, interviews, discography, information on drum-set ups, fan fictions, pictures, tributes, videos and band information. And, with even more still to arrive, we hope that Powellite Palace will take a starring role in your life.

Long Live Rock 'n' Roll!

'QNN Live' is dedicated to providing information about Queen on stage right across their career. The site is currently under construction but, when finished, will include set-lists with links to song information, live videos, concert reviews and venue information, as well as links to related content on other QNN sites.

Throughout June QNN Street Teamers will be set several missions relating to concerts, and the QNN competition will focus on Queen live. You will be able to access QNN Live clicking on the banner in my signature on QNN Message Board, and you may also see a change in appearance of some site banners. Also look out for additions to QNN Live and new live content across QNN sites.

Extended 'a story waiting to be told' adventure story

Thanks to notification of one of our messageboard members reaching a dead-end, I have recently extended one of the paths of this choose your own adventure story.

For those of you who don't know, in 'a story waiting to be told' choose your own adventure you take on the role of one of the characters from my original 'a story waiting to be told' stories. It is then up to you whether to follow the original tale, or choose other paths and thereby explore new versions of the story. You do this by clicking on an option at the bottom of each page.

New 'A Story Waiting To Be Told' banner

The 'Choose Your Own Adventure' story caled 'A Story Waiting To Be Told' now has a new banner:

'A Story Waiting To Be Told' was originally a series of stories written by neeuqfonafamai and published on 'The Story Factory' website. It was made up of several mini-series following the fictional adventures of Abigail, Jo, Lauren, Brian, Roger and, ocassionally, John and Freddie.

The 'Choose Your Own Adventure' version brings a whole new light on the recently completed series. In thsi version you become one of the characters and follow one of the mini-series, choosing how they unfold. You many find yourself down the path of one of the original stories, or you may find yourself in a totally different world. It's up to you!

The 'Choose Your Own Adventure' world is always expanding and we welcome your contributions to any dead ends you may find. Alternatively, contact neeuqfonafamai with the address of the page you are on and ask for that path to be fast-tracked.
